SMOG DIAMONDS

Daan Roosegaarde is on a creative mission to make the world schoonheid, or to us, clean. Based in Rotterdam, Studio Roosegaarde have embarked on the Smog Free project, and have already created the world’s largest vacuum tower that converts smog into clear air in Beijing. The studio have now even worked out how to develop the smog, which is 42% carbon, into diamonds and from these have designed beautiful rings and cufflinks. Every cloud really does have a silver lining!
